See What Our Parents Have To Say

  • I am writing to share my enthusiastic review of Miss Joan's Little School. I believe this school and staff to be truly exceptional. The teachers are not only kind and caring but also deeply dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming family-like atmosphere. My child has thrived in this environment, experiencing significant educational growth and development during the time here. I wholeheartedly recommend this preschool to any parent who is searching for a nurturing and enriching environment for their young child.

  • Miss Joan’s Little School provided the perfect first school experience for all four of our children. The staff is exceptional, and it’s clear they genuinely love working with kids. One of the things we appreciated most was the low turnover—our children had the same teachers as their siblings, which created a sense of continuity and comfort. The curriculum was thoughtfully designed and engaging, and the special activities were always a highlight, executed flawlessly each time. Our family’s experience was truly wonderful. While we were sad to move on as our children grew older, Miss Joan’s will always hold a special place in our hearts.

  • MJLS is like a family. From the kids to the teachers and parents, we all support each other, which makes it that much easier to trust the staff when your child is with them during the day. Not only are they in good hands, but they are learning so much every day. My oldest was more than ready for kindergarten and I know my other two will be prepared as well. It will be a sad day when all my kids are in elementary school and we lose the MJLS community.

  • We feel incredibly lucky to have found Miss Joan’s Little School for our daughter. The teachers are wonderful and seem to truly love and care about all of the kids. The communication from both our daughter’s teacher, and the school as a whole, is excellent. There are fun activities for the kids during the school day, including music and Spanish classes, and many family events, as well. Our daughter has grown so much since starting here, and we are endlessly grateful to the wonderful teachers and staff for creating such a positive, loving space.

  • MJLS was the ABSOLUTE BEST place for our three children to start their school journey! They each grew year after year and were beyond prepared for Kindergarten. We are forever grateful to the teachers at MJLs for instilling such a love of learning in our children! This school will always hold a special place in our hearts.

  • We moved to Blue Bell unexpectedly in 2016 after already securing a coveted spot at a school in our previous town. I was panicking. I toured a few schools and even made a deposit at another, but I didn’t feel confident in that I had found the one. When I toured MJLS, it felt right. I added my daughter to the waitlist and crossed my fingers. We got lucky. For the next 7 years the staff at MJLS was our extended family. We attended year round for both school and camp. The teachers and aides are warm and loving, but also prepared my children extremely well for kindergarten. Even during the short gap year when we weren’t actively enrolled due to age - I often called to ask for advice or guidance regarding my kids. Many of the teachers and assistants have remained consistent - my youngest had some of the same teachers my oldest had, and those that moved on only did so after 15+ years to retire. The school itself nurtures a sense of community - both my children and we as parents have strong friendships that all started at MJLS. My youngest and last graduated from Miss Joan’s in June 2024 and while we all were excited for the next phase, I cried extra hard leaving that parking lot our last official day. I am forever thankful to the staff, and grateful that we found Miss Joan’s Little School.
