Miss Joan’s Little School is a private school licensed by the Department of Human Services. We participate in the PA Keystone Stars Program and our director and teachers are members of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
We are proud of our experienced staff and very low teacher turnover. Teachers, as well as some assistants, hold degrees in Education and many years of experience. All of our teachers continue their education through annual classes and workshops. Our staff meets and exceeds PA State requirements in all aspects of early learning.
Mrs. Krista Alessandrini, M.Ed
I have been in Education for over 25 years as a preschool teacher, elementary school teacher, Reading Specialist, and director. Many of my years were spent in the public school system, and I always enjoyed working with children in their early years. I am PA certified in Education PreK-4, Elementary Education, Special Education, and am a Reading Specialist. In addition, I hold a Director’s Credential Certificate for the state of Pennsylvania. Teaching early literacy has always been my passion, and my favorite children’s book is Officer Buckle and Gloria as well as anything by author Eric Carle. I am an active member of the community, and enjoy spending time with my husband and three older children – who also attended Miss Joan’s Little School – and sweet dog Enzo. In my free time I love to run, read, go to the beach, and decorate my home!
Mrs. Gina Mancuso Feliccitti, B.S.
I have been at Miss Joan’s Little School since 2016! I came to Miss Joan’s with experience in both education and administration. I have a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I have had different career experiences including the private and public school systems, home child care, and behavioral health. All of my expertise has been carried into my role here at Miss Joan’s Little School. Although I am in an administrative position, you will frequently find me in the classroom engaging with our wonderful children. While my passion for watching children learn and grow has not changed, much of my personal life has changed! Since joining MJLS, I have had the opportunity to celebrate both becoming a wife and a mother with our MJLS family. Outside of school you will find me with my family. We love spending time at the shore, and just enjoying each other’s company.
Lead Teacher (Class A)
I have been teaching at Miss Joan’s Little School since 2015! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Ohio State University, and have worked with children in both the preschool and elementary school level. Over the years, I have also been an active school volunteer while raising my five wonderful children. Life is busy while my husband and I juggle time spent with our five grown children and our favorite chocolate lab.

I am very excited to be teaching at Miss Joan’s Little School for another year and joined the MJLS staff in 2017. I love to read, and most enjoy sharing my love for reading with my class of toddlers. My favorite children’s books are Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Pete the Cat’s White Shoes. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, school-age daughter and young son!

Lead Teacher (Class C)
I am excited to be the toddler teacher at Miss Joan’s. I am a 2005 graduate of Saint Joseph’s University where I earned my degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I went on to receive my Master’s in Special education from Chestnut Hill College in 2010. Before becoming a mom, I spent eight years teaching in Methacton School District where I taught 3rd grade and 5th grade learning support. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two girls Liv (12) and Remy (9). We can be found most of the time at the field hockey field or at an equestrian show. When we are not busy with sports, we love to spend time in Naples, Florida!
Assistant Teacher (Class B)
I am happy to have worked with children in a child-care setting for over twenty years and began caring for children at MJLS in 2015. I enjoy laughing with the children and watching them learn new skills. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have been working with young children for over twenty years and have loved every minute of it! I have been in the MJLS family since 2007, and have loved being close to each and every family. I am a proud mother of four sons and two beautiful grandsons. I look forward to teaching each day, and I also look forward to the years to come!
Assistant Teacher (Everywhere!)
I have been a teacher at Miss Joan’s Little School since 1998, and am proud to have cared for generations of wonderful families! I have spent most of my years as an assistant with four year olds, but have worked in all three classes at one time or another. I have a wonderful son named Brandon who is a plumber by trade. I love to work and teach children of preschool age as they seem to absorb so much at this young age. It is a pleasure to be around children everyday, and I’m sure they enjoy coming to see us everyday too!
Assistant Teacher (Class A)
I was born and raised in Philadelphia, and have a Bachelors Degree in Business and Marketing. However, I have always loved working with children, and for many years was a school volunteer and Home and School Board member. Now I am happy to be a teacher’s assistant since 2015 at Miss Joan’s Little School. I live with my husband and I have two grown sons. My favorite children’s books are Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Goodnight Moon. In my free time I love to cook, dance, and travel!
Assistant Teacher (Class C)
I am from England originally, and have been living here in the states for 25 years. I live locally here in Blue Bell where, along with my husband, have raised our two children who are now older teenagers. Over the years, I have gained experience with special needs children and take great satisfaction from helping teach useful skills that will enable a child to more easily navigate the world around them. I love spending the days with my toddler class!
Assistant Teacher (Class A)
