Staff

Miss Joan’s Little School is a private school licensed by the Department of Human Services. We participate in the PA Keystone Stars Program and our director and teachers are members of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

We are proud of our experienced staff and very low teacher turnover. Teachers, as well as some assistants, hold degrees in Education and many years of experience. All of our teachers continue their education through annual classes and workshops. Our staff meets and exceeds PA State requirements in all aspects of early learning.

I have been in Education for over 25 years as a preschool teacher, elementary school teacher, Reading Specialist, and director. Many of my years were spent in the public school system, and I always enjoyed working with children in their early years. I am PA certified in Education PreK-4, Elementary Education, Special Education, and am a Reading Specialist. In addition, I hold a Director’s Credential Certificate for the state of Pennsylvania. Teaching early literacy has always been my passion, and my favorite children’s book is Officer Buckle and Gloria as well as anything by author Eric Carle. I am an active member of the community, and enjoy spending time with my husband and three older children – who also attended Miss Joan’s Little School – and sweet dog Enzo. In my free time I love to run, read, go to the beach, and decorate my home!

Mrs. Gina Mancuso Feliccitti, B.S.

Director

I have been at Miss Joan’s Little School since 2016! I came to Miss Joan’s with experience in both education and administration. I have a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I have had different career experiences including the private and public school systems, home child care, and behavioral health. All of my expertise has been carried into my role here at Miss Joan’s Little School. Although I am in an administrative position, you will frequently find me in the classroom engaging with our wonderful children. While my passion for watching children learn and grow has not changed, much of my personal life has changed! Since joining MJLS, I have had the opportunity to celebrate both becoming a wife and a mother with our MJLS family. Outside of school you will find me with my family. We love spending time at the shore, and just enjoying each other’s company.

Before becoming a mom, I spent eight years teaching in Methacton School District where I taught 3rd grade and 5th grade learning support. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two girls Liv (12) and Remy (9). We can be found most of the time at the field hockey field or at an equestrian show. When we are not busy with sports, we love to spend time in Naples, Florida!

Miss Eileen

Assistant Teacher (Everywhere!)

I have been a teacher at Miss Joan’s Little School since 1998, and am proud to have cared for generations of wonderful families! I have spent most of my years as an assistant with four year olds, but have worked in all three classes at one time or another. I have a wonderful son named Brandon who is a plumber by trade. I love to work and teach children of preschool age as they seem to absorb so much at this young age. It is a pleasure to be around children everyday, and I’m sure they enjoy coming to see us everyday too!

I am from England originally, and have been living here in the states for 25 years. I live locally here in Blue Bell where, along with my husband, have raised our two children who are now older teenagers.
